Painted in response to visiting a chinese restaurant and falling in love with a silk painting. I had to do my own version on return home. this is painted for me to sit and daydream away. I used photoshop and used textures and basically mucked around with the image. It is aplace i would like to visit. It is exciting to watch people come in and instantly connect with your image of far away lands. I love the bold primitive shapes and also the way the divine proportion sits on the painting.
